So I'm chugging along, editing/revising Wayworn, for the most part enjoying myself since the bulk of the work is already done.  (Sometimes it's nice being an edit-as-I-go kind of writer.  Not that I have much choice since a brick wall drops in front of me any time I try to move forward without making what I have the best I can at the time).  Anyway ( Read more... )

I started my revisions yesterday.  I only had two hours to work so I only got through the first chapter, but I think I'm off to a pretty good start.  I rewrote the first page and then through simple tightening, cut about 750 words from it.  Right now I'm at the stage where I'm excited about revisions and feeling good about my book.  Wonder how long ( Read more... )

One day earlier than I'd hoped and in 4,000 words less than I thought it'd take. And to think, just last week I was stressing about whether or not I'd be able to make it in under 120K.
